What are Super Insulated Columns?

A leading component of our conservatory roof systems is our super insulated columns. They sit in the corners of the customer’s extension, aiding the thermal performance of the room as a whole. They trap five times more heat than a traditional brick column, ensuring the conservatory remains warm even in winter.

Our Ultraframe super insulated columns are comprised of:

Enriched polystyrene core
Powder coating
Porous membrane
Aluminium cladding

The electric radiant panel heater fits neatly into the 90 degree large corner column, provided either a small or large abutment column is designed into the scheme. Fitting vertically in this way it optimises your new design potential, as they are less obtrusive than traditional radiators and more cost effective to install (and operate) than underfloor heating systems. Radiant panel heaters are designed to maximise heat output whilst looking good too!
